Oh my this is an oldie. When I did this test it was the first time I was using the G85 camera. Looking back at this the test I performed wasn’t that bad.
It’s bee a while now that cellphone footage is great to acceptable out doors during the day. What they do lack out doors is some depth of field. In other words everything is in focus. There is no blurry background.
For indoor shots they still aren’t great. Nor is the G85 for that matter. It can get better with much more expensive lenses but I’m not sure it’s something you should invest in. Generally people like Micro Four Third cameras for their portability. So not really for indoor dark scenarios.
I still have this camera today and I mainly use it as a B cam.
