Acai Bowl: The 5-Minute Recipe I’m Obsessed With!

Bowl with blended acai fruit and various toppings, placed on a dining table.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

This açaí bowl recipe is my go-to meal that I was obsessed with when I lived in New York City! Unlike other complicated recipes, this version is quick, easy, and packed with flavor. It reminds me of the delicious bowls I used to get from Juice Generation. If you’re looking for a fast, healthy, and customizable breakfast, lunch, or snack, this recipe is for you!

Ingredients

  • 2 acai packets
  • 1/2 small frozen banana (44g)
  • 1/4 cup almong milk (56g)
  • 3/4 Tablespoon of almond butter
  • Toppings to taste:
    • Blueberries
    • Raspberries
    • 1/2 banana sliced
    • Almond Butter
    • Granola

Instructions

  1. Rinse the acai packets under the faucet for about 6 seconds to loosen them up
  2. Cut the tops of the packets with scissors
  3. Add acai packet content to blender
  4. Measure out milk of choice and add to blender
  5. Add frozen banana to blender
  6. Add almond butter to blender
  7. Blend ingredients for about thirty five seconds or until smooth
  8. Pour blended contents into a small bowl
  9. Add toppings like: blueberries, raspberries, 1/2 banana, granola and almond butter. To make it more presentable place ingredients in their own section.

Enjoy the bowl as soon as possible because the longer you wait the more it will melt. If you’d like a more solid consistency, skip the almond butter in the blending phase. I tend to enjoy this meal with an iced coffee and sometimes a hot coffee. Since I don’t add sugar to my coffee it provides a nice contrast.
